If you’ve been following me at all over these last seven months you know I’m a major fan of action figures/collectibles and one of my absolute favorite companies is Hot Toys, which does nothing short of cranking out the absolute best, most film-accurate depictions of film characters. See their work on Batman, Bane , the Joker, Lt. Gordon and the Bat-pod
Today they unveiled their latest masterpiece. The 1/4th scale The Dark Knight Rises Batman figure. Its release is set up to tie into “The Dark Knight Rises,” but this is really a Batman compilation figure of “The Dark Knight” and “The Dark Knight Rises”.
It’s just a “bit” bigger than your typical 12″ figure, but if you’ve got the room it looks like the ultimate Batman figure.
The “Batman Begins” costume is too different to work in this pack, but it’s one of my least favorite Batman costumes so I’m fine just going with this one. Your mileage may vary. Besides, once you start checking out all of the fun accessories included with this one, you likely won’t miss the “Batman Begins” look at all anyway. 
Included are separate cowl pieces – one to simulate the “Bat-sonar” Batman used in finding and fighting The Joker; his handy grapple gun, the sticky tack explosive gun and backpack set-up Batman used during the skyscraper scene in “TDK”; and memorabilia from most of his major foes — a Joker goon mask, Bane’s anesthetic mask device and Scarecrow’s mask. 
The only thing I couldn’t make out is whether a two-headed coin or “I Believe in Harvey Dent” campaign button is included to have something to represent Two-Face, which would make for a really nice touch. And on that note, something to represent Ra’s Al Ghul would be pretty cool as well. Still it’s hard to complain about something being left out of this set. A piece of wreckage is also included, which I’m not sure is intended to represent where Batman explores the wreckage of the explosion and finds Harvey’s coin or Gotham post Bane invasion. Either way it looks pretty nice.
