The 2015 edition of the Baltimore Comic Con is in the books. I had a great time meeting a lot of folks, talking to comic creators and seeing some fantastic cosplay.

Black Widow figure review Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron

Without a doubt one of my favorite films this year was “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” I am anxiously awaiting its arrival on Blu-Ray so I can watch it over and over.

Hot Toys is already underway with releasing its AOU 12″ figures starting with Iron Man, Captain America, War Machine and now the Black Widow. Despite being pregnant during shooting, Scarlett Johansson’s character once again didn’t take a backseat to her male counterparts and factored into many of the film’s best moments. Let’s see if the figure is equally as memorable.

Black Panther, Vision choose sides in Captain America Civil War

If it weren’t for “Spectre,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part II” and of course, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” I’d just as soon fast forward to hurry up and get us to “Captain America: Civil War.”

Captain America and Iron Man will be clashing and now we’ve got our first look at how the teams will break down thanks to this piece of promo art.

Hot Toys Captain America Avengers Age of Ultron figure review

I got in on Hot Toys in the midst of their ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ run so I missed out on two of the initial offerings – Hawkeye and Captain America. As I quickly got sucked in the rabbit hole that was Hot Toys collecting, both became way too cost prohibitive for me — the bidding for both pretty much starts at $400 — so I was more excited than most to be able to finally add them to my collection with Hot Toys’ ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ line.

Now that I’ve finally got my hands on him, it’s time to see if this figure delivered the goods and was worth the wait.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Hot Toys’ Black Widow figure

I am only 50% sure this is just an action figure and not a shrunken down Scarlett Johansson. The likeness here is incredible.
