Welp, if this doesn’t whet your appetite for the most anticipated blockbuster of the fall I don’t know what will.

The latest trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” looks to tap into its inner Michael Bay with some serious explosions, shoot-outs and Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss taking down two fighter jets with her trusty bow and arrow. As if she wasn’t most pre-teen/teen girls’ biggest role model before, this trailer should just about make that a wrap.

Katniss and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) find themselves on opposite sides of propaganda efforts. Peeta for The Capitol and Katniss for the rebellion seeking to overthrow the forces led by President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and it doesn’t look like it’s gonna take long before all hell breaks loose throughout the districts based on the scenes teased in the trailer.

#Fall2014 movie preview for any mood

Alright summertime is now officially over. Hope all you action junkies got your fix because now it’s time for the fall movie season and with it comes a slew of films each studio will be pushing hard as we begin the road to The Oscars 2015. There’s gonna be a TON of drama, but some comedy and even a potential blockbuster or two, but for more demanding moviegoers, this is their prime season to indulge. It may be a bit overwhelming to figure out what you should add to your calendar so no worries, I’ve got the perfect fall movie for any possible mood you’re in over the next three months. So let’s get to it!

Birthday Wishes – Aug. 15, 2014 – Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lawrence

Ben Affleck (42) – May you stay far, far away from any irritating fanboys who want to use “Daredevil,” as all the example they need for why you’ll be a lousy Batman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” without giving you a chance first. BTW, I really enjoyed “Daredevil” and thought you did just fine, but I know you’re gonna blow everyone’s expectations away as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Jennifer Lawrence (24) – With two films slated for the end of this year, the much-anticipated “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” and your all but guaranteed Oscar-contender “Serena,” there’s no doubt that the winter will belong to J-Law. Here’s to another year of being the celebrity most regular folks would want to hang out with.
