Even at 43, the actress/dancer/model still looks amazing and while her latest movie ‘Lap Dance,’ didn’t exactly set the direct to video market on fire, she’s got two more projects in the works for this year. You know all those stars in “Movie 43?” Most of them decided to bail on the L.A. premiere

“Movie 43” reads like a who’s who of Hollywood with A-list Oscar winning talent like Halle Berry, Terrence Howard and Kate Winslet; Oscar nominees in Hugh Jackman and Naomi Watts; current hot stars like Emma Stone, Chris Pratt, Josh Duhamel, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Faris, Katrina Bowden, Kristen Bell; dependable veteran stars in Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid and Gerard Butler; rising stars Chloe Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse and scores of familiar faces like Leslie Bibb, Jason Sudekis, Johnny Knoxville, Justin Long and Sean William Scott.

For a film with such an all-star roster, it’s a bit surprising then that no critic has seen the movie yet and it’s opening cold (meaning no critic will see it until it opens in theaters tomorrow). And you’ve had to have been pretty diligent to find any of the aforementioned stars doing any promotional work whatsoever for the film. Film Flashback: Disaster Movie (2008)

I love puns, silly sight gags and parodies. I think “Mystery Science Theater” was brilliant. Some of my favorite comedies are “The Naked Gun” series and “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood,” but  starting in 2000 with “Scary Movie,” filmmakers forgot how to make a good parody and abandoned all sense of wit and subtle humor in films that would make 13-year-olds shake their heads and think they could do better.
