“Cloud Atlas” is one of the fall’s most-anticipated films. In addition to its A-level cast boasting Hugh Grant, Hugo Weaving, Keith David and Oscar winners Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent and Susan Sarandon; “Atlas” marks the directorial return of  the Wachowski siblings, (“The Matrix”) who had removed themselves from the spotlight since their 2008 disappointment “Speed Racer.” For the record, I liked it, but not too many people felt the same way.

I’ve seen it and will have the review up first thing Friday at midnight, but for now, here’s a few more images to check out:

From the official write-up: Drama, mystery, action and enduring love thread through a single story that unfolds in multiple timelines over the span of 500 years. Characters meet and reunite from one life to the next. Born and reborn.

As the consequences of their actions and choices impact one another through the past, the present and the distant future, one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.

Everything is connected.
