Three films in now, you should know exactly what you’re in for with “The Expendables 3.” That will inevitably be disappointing for those expecting some thoughtful commentary on action from a collection of actors who starred in the biggest action hits of the 1980s and 1990s.

Birthday wishes – Feb. 21, 2013 – Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kelsey Grammer and Ellen Page

Jennifer Love Hewitt hotJennifer Love Hewitt (34) – I’ve got nothing.  On behalf of every straight man out there – just stay awesome. But I think it’s about time for another “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” don’t you?

????????Kelsey Grammer (58) – Loathe as I am to admit it, there was one aspect of “X-Men: The Last Stand” I did enjoy and it was your portrayal of Beast. Call up Bryan Singer and find some way to get into “X-Men: Days of Future Past” so you can be in a good X-Men movie.

14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - ArrivalsEllen Page (26) – As another survivor of “X-Men: The Last Stand,” you’ve already made a great call in signing on to “Days of Future Past” and hoping that this will be as significant role in the film as it was in the comic. You’re criminally overdue for a hit film since 2010’s “Inception.”

Alan RickmanAlan Rickman (67) – After suffering through the franchise-killer that was “A Good Day to Die Hard,” I appreciate even more your role in getting it started. Here’s to another year of making more memorable characters like Hans Gruber and “Harry Potter’s” Professor Snape.
